Overall Plot

DauphinMare and Riverfell are worlds between worlds. The two worlds are caught in a cosmic war where the rules are always changing. Riverfell fights for Chaos and Dark, and DauphinMare fights for Order and Light. The purpose? To assemble enough forces to win the war for the amusement of the Powers That Be... or to survive it.

At the beginning, DauphinMare was extremely ill-informed, and Riverfell was well prepared for what was going on. Now they stand on more or less equal footing.

Phase One

Part One - Days 3 + 4

Severus Snape was summoned to Riverfell, and immediately called by Acevona to perform a task. He was sent to spy on the DauphinMare citizens so that Acevona would know what she was up against. Upon reporting back, Snape noted that the biggest threats were Edward and Chase. He mentioned a good way to cripple them was through their personal relationships with Bella and Pepper. This gave Ace the notion that she should kidnap those girls, and she sends Janicon Moriko to do the job.

Meanwhile, Chase Collins - intrigued by a portal - slipped through and wound up in Riverfell, where he took on the unofficial position of spy. Upon returning, he reported to Edward some of the things that he had seen. Edward and Chase began making plans for what to do about the information Chase had gathered. After conferring with new arrival and leader Icentari Stormfyre they decided that Chase should return that evening.

Pepper was set the task of compiling a list of names and strengths of all the residents in DauphinMare in case they were needed. While they were creating said list, Jan arrived in DauphinMare and convinced Luna Lovegood to assist him in finding one or both of the girls. Luna did so, bringing both girls to the portal in the cove. After a brief confrontation with Edward, Jan succeeded in dragging Bella through the portal, and pushing Pepper through behind him.

In Riverfell, Jan, Bella and Pepper were soon joined by Vampire Willow and Chase. At first Chase tried to trick Jan into giving him the girls, but that plan was abandoned by the arrival of Jane and Alec. With their focus mostly on Bella, Chase orchestrated Pepper's escape. General confusion allowed him to give the same opportunity to Bella shortly thereafter. The others were confused by what was going on, and blamed Chase by default. But a loss of interest gave him the chance to slip through the portal behind the girls.

Part Two - Days 6 to 8

To rebut against the kidnapping of the kidnappees from Riverfell, Acevona summoned hoards of Reavers to Riverfell to basically massacre the forces that DauphinMare was gathering. In an attempt to further plan her attack, Ace brought the leader of DauphinMare into a lucid dream to gather information. Unfortunately, Ace was expecting Laurel, who would have been less questioning of her own plans. As it were, she got Ice, and was forced to reveal more than she had intended. Ice began making preparations for battle including talking to Mal about what Reavers were and assigning the members of DauphinMare a plan of attack.

With the new arrivals, the DauphinMarians decide to have a beach party to get to know everyone. Much chaos ensues, and leads to a weekend where the inhabitants start to get really fucking friendly with each other. Seriously.

Meanwhile, during the party, Snape - acting on a discussion he had with Lily - reports to Ice to confess about being a spy. He is let off with little more than a slap on the wrist, which frightens him. He wonders what price he will have to pay later.

In preparation for the upcoming battle, the two groups hold planning meetings. First guard's is hosted by Chase, Second guard's is hosted by Edward. The second guard also has an offscreen training session. It isn't really enough, but it's as much as they can muster.

Finally, after what feels like a month of waiting, the Reavers attack. Some attack those fighting outside. Charlie McGee falls victim to the attack and is torn apart by the creatures. Other Reavers attack those hiding inside. Daniel "Oz" Osbourne is a victim there.

The troops patch up their wounded and bury their dead. They welcome those who arrived mid-battle to be of use, and slowly start recovering. Chances are good they are going to have more sex.

Phase Two

Part One - Days 9 + 10

With the relative success of the Reaver attack, Order gains the opportunity to move in the cosmic chess game. Order's move is different from Chaos, obviously - where Chaos is fighting and war, Order is all about puzzles. Objects are hidden in both DauphinMare and Riverfell and people from both DauphinMare and Riverfell are selected to sneak through the portals and "capture the flag", so to speak.

Riverfell's attack is largely unsuccessful. Jayne is found out and taken to Ice, where he is bound to silence and given a home in DauphinMare. Piteraq does a lot of running around searching for the object before Edward finally captures her and brings her to Ice.

However, DauphinMare is successful in their attempt and manage to recover their item, as well as rescuing one of the dungeon slaves. Chase Collins also goes over to Riverfell and while he doesn't learn much of use on this spying venture, he does figure out about the caves.

Part Two - Day Ten

Later in the evening, when DauphinMare believes they are safe, Tory and Jadis invade and... well... generally cause chaos. The vampires all gang up on Jadis, and she doesn't get very far or cause too much damage before she is killed, but Tory manage to scar Kat pretty badly before running away before he can be caught.

Phase Three

Days 11, 12 + 13

In order to relax a bit, the DauphinMarians celebrate Christmas on Day 12 in DauphinMare. Much of Day 11 is spent planning for this event. Jan makes it snow, and the character spend the day having snow fights, building snowmen and generally partying it up.

The fun is somewhat short lived - Ice looks into the orb from Phase 2 and discovers that Damion has been summoned to Riverfell. At The Christmas Party, Ice announces this and prepares the residents for Chaos to be unleashed.

While at the party, James and Lily have a bit of a fight that escalates quickly and results in James embarrassing Lily in front of the entire town, and ultimately ending their relationship. Lily storms away from the party and is attacked by Damion when he unleashes Chaos on DauphinMare.

Chaos' effects are varied - some are quite funny, others less so. Plot related Day 13 events include James and Sirius finally hexing Snape, Alice's expanding visions, and Jasper biting Bella and starting her transformation.

In addition to that, Riverfell takes advantage of the confusion to send people over. Sylar kills Bobby and takes his power of ice - not to mention gives Johnny a complex. And Fenrir comes over and abducts Kai taking him back to Riverfell, where he is questioned and bound to silence before being sent back.

The Powers That Be are incredibly pleased with Damion's performance. Acevona is asked to resign as head of Riverfell and Damion moves into position of first. He contacts Ice in a dream to share the good news. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your outlook), Chaos ends early - which leaves some people in rather compromising situations.

Generally shaken and confused, DauphinMare settles in to wait for the next phase of this war.
